VFiPP plates replace puck screens and are used to control espresso extraction so that you get a perfect extraction each time. They work best with a declining lever profile, however will work on any 58mm espresso machine. Please note, the plate itself takes up 5mm thickness hence these plates are more compatible with larger 58mm baskets.

Five constriction buttons are supplied with this kit. Use the 0.2mm flow button for low dose dark roast shots to recover shot timings. Use the 0.3mm button for dark roast double dose (21g) shots. The 0.4mm button is a versatile amount of back-pressure and can be used to brighten medium roasts. The 0.5mm button provides a small amount of back -pressure and can be used with light roasts to help stop channeling. The 0.6mm buttons provides the lowest back-pressure and is close to traditional espresso, with a minimum of back-pressure, for those that don't want super bright espresso but still want some benefit from VFiPP.
